| For those of you who love Chevys, here's a sweet body created from an all new master. Unlike our previous kit which could only be built as a Special, this version allows you to build a Deluxe, or by sanding off the side molding, a Special.
The preferred donor for this body is the AMT/Ertl 1951 Chevrolet Bel Air kit. As with any resin kit, some sanding and trial fitting is recommended before priming and paint work begins. Chemical Cleanup Needed! Your kit will have already received a 24 hour Bleche-Wite soaking and final detergent scrub & rinse and all that you have to do is the final sanding & fitting, prime and paint the the body the color of your choice!
We've created a 2 page builders guide (shown Below) for this conversion that will help you make an accurate "Stock" version of either the Deluxe or Special. It's printed on Kodak 45# gloss stock and shows all the available colors along with photos and detail information from official Chevrolet specifications.

Your kit will come with a one (1oz) ounce bottle of Single Stage (no clear coat needed) Air Brush Ready Acrylic Enamel with a zinc plated agitator to help mixing. We have also added a drop of surfactant to your paint to allow the paint to flow better and give a higher gloss. Select one of the 8 Chevrolet factory colors that were available from the chips shown below and be sure to include the name of your color choice in your e-mail and correspondence to avoid shipping delays. If you'd like to paint your car in one of the two-tone color combinations that were available let us know and we'll send you a revised invoice at the end of the auction. Please note that all colors are approximate due to differences in monitors and the way systems and browsers interpret colors. All paints are mixed from original color charts of the era.

Insurance is not available with this shipping method but all of our Canadian shipments are well packed and double boxed. We accept PayPal and Canadian Postal Money Orders. International Customers... Shipping via First-Class International Mail is $12.00. We combine shipping at a flat rate of only $2.00 U.S. for each additional car ordered (maximum of 4 kits).
