You can build either
a 1951 or 1952 Styleline 2 door sedan ...

from this kit using any one of AMT's currently available 51 Chevy kits.

The kit includes the 1951 body along with a 1952 grill and west coast dress-up bumper guard set to be used with the AMT 1951 Chevrolet donor kit you supply. The 51 Bel Air makes an excellent donor and if you don't already have one, they're available through Hobby Heaven or at eBay. Our kits need a minimal cleaning since no mold release agent is used in the casting process, and they are crisp and clean. Typical of resin kits, some sanding and trimming for proper fit may be required during assembly. While you can have the bumpers plated if you wish, Alclad does a better job of representing the chrome finish of the Korean war era.

We're also including a builders detail sheet with full color pictures showing interiors, exteriors and data charts plus a full color chart showing solid and two-tone colors for both years printed on Kodak 44# Gloss presentation stock. Also included is a separate order form you can mail in to MCW if you want to order accurate paint.

As a "Freebie," your kit also includes enough of our new window glazing material to do several models... That's it shown below on one of our 1957 Chevrolet Sport Sedans. This one was built and detailed by Bob's Curbside 66. More photos and details are available at The Resin Realm.

...and some of our new "Chrome Trim" mylar stock for making interior and exterior trim pieces. It's real chrome plate, only a few thousandths thick, and is great for mirrors, dash, headliner and door trim, p/u bed strips and lining...you'll probably find a gazillion other uses for it. Unlike BMF it's chrome on both sides and has no adhesive coating. It's also not as flexible as BMF, but then again, it's not as fragile either. The last two pix tell the story.
